João Pedro Coelho Marinho de Sousa (Guimarães, March 30th, 1989) is a professional tennis player, considered the best tennis player in Portugal.

He started playing tennis at seven years old with his father Armando at his home club. He moved to Barcelona with 15 years to achieve his dream of being a professional tennis player.

Portugal’s No. 1 was the first player in his country to win an ATP World Tour title and finish the year in the Top 50.

He has won 3 ATP World Tour titles and in 2013 registered his personal best with 16 matches won in the ATP, 2 of them against rivals Top 10.
